Day 10: Area of Straight-Sided Shapes
The areas of several shapes were calculated by breaking them into triangles and rectangles.
First lines were drawn on the shapes to create rectangles and triangles. Next, the edges were measured and sketches were drawn. Then the triangular and rectangular areas were calculated. Finally they were added together to find the total area of the shape.
